I am suffering from headaches and blurred vision even after completion of linezolid ip 600mg antibiotic tablets that I had taken for 1 month alongside linezolid 300mL shots for 2 weeks after a spinal surgery / epidural due to an abscess & psoas abscess. My course of treatment was completed 3-weeks back but I am still experiencing side effects. How long will it take to recover from these side effects? After 10-days of completion of linezolid ip 600mg tablets, I have been advised to take tryptomer 10mg tablets for 15 days; which caused my side effects to increase. Can anyone please offer some advice?

Nezkil is the brand name of linezolid marketed by continental pharmaceuticals.it is indicated in pneumonias,sstis,vre infections with concommitant bacteremia. off the label indications include bone and joint infections, native valve left side endocarditis etc.it is weak mao inhibitor.long term use may result in reversible pancytopenia and irreversible optic neuropathies, thus require continueous monitoring.
