Librax Bentyl

I recently was diagnosed with ibs. Bentyl helped tremendously but after a few pills thought i had reaction. Dr said try librax & if it doesnt work go back to bentyl. Took total of 3-4 librax. Havent taken librax since 10:00 Thurs night. Is it safe to take bentyl because librax isnt working & I dont want to be on it for ibs

Yes, you should be able to make a clean switch, if your doctor has told you to do so.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, stomach pain, abdominal pain, flatulence, and diarrhea.

What reaction did you you think you were having to the Bentyl? How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?
