Has anybody had an elevated liver profile due to the use of lexapro?

Brian, that was not the case for me. As far as the cost of this drug goes, is there another Depression Medication besides Lexapro that i can use that is less expensive? Lexapro is very expensive for me. When will the generic version be on the market?

Yes, Brian, it has been known to cause that as a side effect, and you may also experience headache, dry mouth, mood changes, and weight changes.

Patricia, did you end up trying any other medication? This one is available as a generic, now, under the name Escitalopram.

How expensive is it for you? Do you have insurance, or an RX discount card?
