Levoxyl Recall In 2017?

Is Levoxyl being recalled again in 2017? If so, for what this time? I have just read that it is being recalled again in 2017. My dr has just prescribed it for me.

Hi Maggie,

In my personal investigation there are no apparent announcements (official or otherwise) of a Levoxyl recall taking place at this time in 2017.

However I did come across mention of a previous recall from 2013-2014, by the american thyroid association.

Where did you read about the possibility of a recall for 2017? And I'm not sure if this makes any difference, but was it pertaining to brand name Levoxyl or its generic counterpart Levothyroxine?
