Levothyroxine Causes Palpatations

My tsh was a 7 so dr put me on levothyroxine 50mg. I felt great bfore , now i have heart palpatations & trouble sleeping. After hearing other possible side effects, i wonder why am i taking this drug when i used to feel so good. Seems like med is giving me the symptons were trying to avoid later on as tsh level rises

When is the last time your levels were checked?

It is normal to have side effects, for awhile, while your body is getting used to the medication, but they should improve with time.

Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and hair loss.

Even though you felt good, before, doesn't mean that it would have continued. With elevated TSH, symptoms could have hit at any time and made you miserable.
