Levofloxacin Constant Diahria Weight Loss

Went to er about a week ago . had blood in phlegm. Said it was acute bronchitis and gave me the med. 750 mgs to take for 5 days. Finished it around 35 hours ago. Only problem is in last 2 days have constant diahria and lost about 5 pounds. I will say that 2 days ago I ate nothing but yesterday ate regularly . yet the biggest weight loss was from last night till this morning when II got on scale. Is this normal with this crap med. And if so how long after stopping it did it get better diahria wise

I should also say I'm not thin to begin with. 5 7 245ish

Yes, diarrhea can be a normal side effect of antibiotics. As listed by the FDA, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and non-allergic skin rash.

It should stop a few days after you finish your course of treatment.

The key issue is to make sure you don't get dehydrated.
