Levofloxacin Levobact 500

is this medcine prescribed for Typhoid. I am currently detected with malaria and Typhoid and doctor gave me this medicine along with other Anti malaria drugs

Levofloxacin is actually one of the primary drugs of choice for treatment of typhoid fever. While it has many other antibiotic uses as well, it can certainly be prescribed for typhoid.
