Levaquin But No Negative Side Effects Yet

I have been on Levaquin for pneumonia for 8 days now, i haven't had any negative side effects yet. After reading all these bad experiences it makes me not want to finish my last 2 doses. Should I be worried even though I haven't had any negative side effects?

JUST AN fyi; i TOOK ONE OF THOSE LEVAQUIN FOR PNEUMONIA....side effects too harsh for me due to medicine sensitivity HOWEVER...I did notice that when i got bit by a mosquito,3 times,that the bite sites were totally gone as well as no itching in a matter of less than 1hour..(WEIRD because I always have severe itching to the point of causing scabs and thus prolonging the irritation days or weeks) ...I contacted the FDA and the CDC hoping that it may be something to look into regarding the Zika virus and maybe something in that med that can help them......thought I'ld mention this to you in case you run into this same thing...if you do I strongly urge you to call them and let them know

Hi Jason,

All prescription drugs carry the possible risk of side effects, but the important thing to understand is that not everyone who takes these drugs experiences them; they are merely risk factors in that regard.

If it's been working for you without any complications then I see no reason to be concerned. However, if you feel that the possible risks outweigh whatever benefit you are receiving from the medication, then I would still encourage you to talk with your doctor about other safer alternatives, if there are any.
