I have been on this drug 10 mg after having dreadful side effects on Losartan. I have stomach ache which went away when I gave up Losatan started lercanidipine a week later stomach ache returning not as bad will it perhaps improve if I continue taking this drug. Could this make nasal drip worse I am convinced my B P medication causes it.???Gina

Stomach ache/pain can be a side effect of this medication, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience headache, increased urination, diarrhea and muscle pain.
But yes, they are usually transient and go away, once your body gets used to the medication, which may take about 4 to 5 weeks. If they get too severe or continue past that point, you should consult your doctor.
As to the nasal drip, they actually usually cause nasal congestion, so I'm not sure on that. Do you suffer from any allergies?
