Lercanidipine Side Effects

I recently start using Lercanidipine to reduce the diastol pressure and this product is for that effectivness. But I realized at least two or three side effects, A reduction in erectile power and a very frequent production of gas to the point that I would like to change this product for another one. I also note muscular pains in calfs and feeling of tiredness in legs.

i have been on ampolopdine 5mg for 10 years but bp is high doctors told me to take 10mg what a ightmare - skin peeling and dry, breathlessness - pains in legs i had to persevere to walk - have now reduced to 5mg again and trying to loose weight - want to try lercanidipine but doctors told me that all bp medication has side effects and they are all more the less the same.

anyone have any thoughts on these

Those can all be common side effects of this medication, as listed by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and dry mouth.

However, side effects typically taper off in severity, as your body gets used to the medication and then eventually go away entirely. Generally, if they're lasting longer than 5 to 6 weeks, you should see your doctor and discuss possibly switching medications.
