i was told this was a muscle relaxer its white pill with gp 400 ## I located the white pill in description to be Magnesium oxide (400 mg). Suspensions of magnesium hydroxide in water (milk of magnesia) are used as an antacid to neutralize stomach acid, and as a laxative. Also being that it is classified under minerals and electrolytes, it may help aid in muscle relaxation; but I cannot personally confirm that. I was prescribed this med while in Mexico to alleve constipation of one week. BlueCross BlueShield Insurance says that "these services and supplies are not covered by the Retail Pharmacy Program". Is this an over-the-counter drug? or why were they able to deny coverage? ## Libertrim contains the active ingredient Trimebutine, which is used to treat various gastro-intestinal problems. My guess as to why they won't cover it would be because it is not an FDA approved medication and most U.S. based insurance companies will not cover medications that are not approved for use. Are there any other questions or comments?
