Lasting Side Effects Several Days After Taking Mephedrone

Hello I am an occasional drug user. I have used several drugs over the last few years but not very frequently. I am currently going through medical issues that have put my life under a bit of stress, so on occasion I use drugs to relieve it. I only take drugs about once every 6-8 months but I take them in quite a large quantity. 4-7 grams over the course of 2-3 days. I have never had any lasting repercussions from taking drugs, but an experience using MDMA in which I was kept awake for an entire week caused me not to touch the drug again. I used to take other drugs every month but I've slowed down. I never used to have an issue other than the usual comedown effects, sweating, shaking, paranoia for a couple of days. However it seems that lately the effects have started to continue long after I've stopped taking the drug. I brought some to use over the course of the Christmas holiday and took my last dosage at 9.30 am on the 26th of Dec. I suffered the usual comedown symptoms but also a longer lasting effect after. My mind feels blank and my dreams seemed to have stopped, I feel weak all the time and haven't eaten properly in about 6 days, as I don't feel hungry. I don't feel anything really. It's like my body and mind feel broken and I'm afraid I won't ever be the same again, despite how the drug should be nearly out of my system by now. It's not the first time it's happened and has taken me several weeks if not a month to feel normal again. I just wonder if anyone else has felt like this and or if it is common, or if my body is finding it harder and harder to fight the drug away and as a result my mind is suffering because of it? And that maybe I should stop all together...

@midnight thief, your experience is same as my own, . I did a little of this and a lot of exctast/mdma and I never fully recovered because that drug drains and empties your serotonin, and I've had to use ssri antidepressants ever since. Yes it's time to let it go
