Lasik 20mg versus hydrochlorothiazide 25mg - Do these two diuretics work the same as far as preventing fluid retention?

Yes, they both work to remove excess fluid from the body. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination dehydration and hypotension.

Which one has your doctor prescribed? Are you on any other medications?
