I need to find Lactose Free medications to do what the following drugs that contain lactose will accomplish
what 1. Plavix 2. Zocor (Simvastatin) can accomplish.

My husband has just spent 5 days in the hospital with a drug reaction to lactose and I need to be sure the others he is taking (those listed above containing lactose) can be replaced with something just as effective.

To be honest, your best bet here might be to go to your local pharnacy, so they can look at the medications they have in stock or can order in and check the inactive ingredients for you.

Both the Plavix and the Zocor are available as name brands and generics, which means there are quite a few on the market, manufactured by different companies.

There really isn't any way to sort through all of them and check to see if they do, or do not contain Lactose. If you had the names of specific manufacturers, I could check for you.

However, your pharmacy has an automated system, they can note the allergy in his file and then all medications would be checked against that, according to all of its ingredients.

If you do know of any specific manufacturers, I will gladly check for you, though.
