Loose Motion From 22nd October

I am suffering from loose motion and stomach ache from 22nd October 2011. I went thrice to two different doctors. Doctor has prescribed medicine for infection, 3 injections, and Solacid. But my condition has not improved. I am having loose motion 3 times a day and suffering from indigestion. I have also taken medicine for de-warming. I feel very week. Please suggest...

My wife is suffering from loose motion for three days though she has had Gmax capsule of 500mg twice a day for two days. Now it is 3 am so we cannot get a doctor nearby. Can anybody help with suggestion or prescription.

Hi!

I am so sorry to read of your wife's "ailment".

I too suffer from this condition, chronically. It has been officially diagnosed as "IBS", but symptoms are a bit different...

I suffer for a duration from constipation, then, suddenly from diarhhea....to the point to where I am afraid to travel or be far from a rest room at any time until the "cycle breaks" and again comes constipation.

The only medication that works for me is now officially "off the market"...it's called Paregoric. (use to be over the counter medication...in the laudiam (spelling) class.

The reason it is "temporarily" off market is that there is not THAT much of a call for it...Drs usually prescribe "tincture of opium" (10 times stronger than Paregoric) or a medication that must be taken daily. (Paregoric, for me, was on a "as need basis", for use when diarrhea struck.

There were quite a few of us that wrote in and complained, begging for the medication to be brought back...

My Dr came up with a solution...

Have you heard of a "compound pharmacy"? In my state of California, near my home, in the city of Fresno there is one called Medical-Dental Pharmacy (rxcompounders.com) (559) 439-1190. Again, in my state of California, Paregoric is now a triplicate Rx, so, my Dr faxes a copy of written RX to them, the pharmacist "makes it", and when ready, I drive about 30 miles to pick it up...I thank God my insurance covers it (it's almost 100.00 a bottle), as it is just the ticket for me!

I can once again travel and attend a social function with MY self confidence...

Please, look it up on internet...you will be surprised at the amount of people it works for!

Again, I do not need it daily, but when I do, it WORKS.
