Loestrin 24 Fe Missed Period..help?

I’ve been in Loestrinf for 5 months now, always take the pill at the same time every day. This month I didn’t get my period. I missed one of the white pills one day, but I read in the information of the pill that it does not matter and that one does not have to use another contraceptive method. I still did not have sex for a week after I forgot to take that pill. I always have unprotected sex and my bf always finishes inside me. I have never had a problem before. So again, this month I did not get my period so I took three pregnancy tests. One I took it the day after I started the sugar pills, the other one I took it more or less three days into the sugar pills and the third one I took it after I had finish the sugar pills. All three came negative, but I still have that though in my mind if im pregnant.. Any help?

If three pregnancy tests have been negative and you didn't miss any tablets, then the chances that you are pregnant are very low. There is, of course, always a possibility, but it's not very likely.

These are hormonal based contraceptives, so it can be normal to experience menstrual irregularities.

I've been on LoEstrin since September...for the first couple of months my periods were still way out of wack...come February...they essentially stopped complety except for the occasional spotting here and there...since February I'd say I've had two period's...each lasting like two days, but it being barely nothing.

When I saw my Gyno in late March, I asked him about it, he said it was perfectly normal for this to happen, that with Loestrin periods normally stopped.

So essentially you are fine! It kind of sucks when you are having sex not getting a period...but it is really awesome if you ask me!

I have been on Loestrin 24 for about 7 months now and i missed one of the brown pills last month, but my period still came. That is the only time i have missed a pill. I used to take it 7A.M. everyday just recently i switched the time to 9 P.M. because the morning was to much trouble. I have taken 2 brown pills and have still not gotten my period. I haven't had sex in about 2 weeks but me and my boyfriend always use condoms and i have never gotten pregnant in the 17 months we've been together. Am i stressing too much? Could it be the time change?

Rest easy... Many many women stop having periods on this pill (myself included!). I have taken multiple tests-all negative. This is very common with this pill. I would only be concerned if I had missed multiple pills with no back up. Take a deep breath...relax.

I missed one pill in the middle of august and had unprotected sex for the first time with my bf on aug 31 the next day I bled and kept bleeding for 3 and half days. This month I still haven't started. Today I start the brown pills. Could I be pregnant?

I've been taken loestrin24fe for 2yrs and sometimes i forget to take them at the same time everyday but i'll take two the next day but still have sex but i have't had a period for about 4 months i took 2 home test but they both say i'm not pregnant.

I have been on lo loestrin for three months now. the first month I had my period. the last two I have not gotten it. I do not use the sugar pills. and me and my boyfriend have protected sex. I had the slighted amount of blood ever last period so I don't even know if that counts. am I pregnant?!

I have been on these pills for 3 months now and this month is the first time I have never had a period. I already have two children and dont plan on any more. I should have gotten my period almost a week ago. But nothing. I feel like I am going to get it though..abdominal bloating, slight cramping. I took 3 preg. tests and all negative. This is strange.

reading your post made me feel better. I have never heard of taking a bc pill and not getting a period once the pack is finished. I feel like I am going to get it any minute. Its driving me nuts.

I had the same thing last month. I am not pregnant so I wouldn't worry to much. Your chance of getting pregnant is really slim as long as you take it correctly the rest of the month. My boyfriend and I also dont use any other protection other than me being on the pill. Just wait for your period and if its over a week late then take another pregnancy test. Hope everything turns out ok!

Im on loestrin24 and recently i think about 2 days before was suppose to take the brown pills i forgot a white pill and then took two in one day, when i started the brown sugar pills i didn't get my period. Me and my boyfriend also have unprotected sex too should i be worried?

same, ive been on this pill for 6 months, and one month my period decided not to come, and the next month and the next month. three pregnancy tests and still nothing.. it most be this birth control

I take my pills at 10pm everyday. I had sex with my boyfriend yesterday afternoon and then took my first brown pill last night. Normally I'll wake up and have my period but today I didn't. It's only one day late but I still can't shake the worry from my head. I haven't missed any pills this month and we use condoms everytime and he's never cum inside me. But also I'm on amoxicillin which decreases the effectiveness of the loestrin. Should I be worried? Has this happened to anyone else?

I have been on Loestrin for 1 year and a half. For the first two months I got my period regularly then it completely stopped. I haven't gotten my period in almost a year and a half. All the sudden I got it at the beginning of the month. Then It came again two weeks later (today). I don't know why this is happening and I never miss my pills and always take them at the same time. Anyone know?

I'm experiencing the same thing. No period for at least a year then suddenly, here it is. And I take an active pill everyday, although I miss one every other day here and there and never have bleeding. Maybe this batch is defective? MY periods are very heavy and painful, and this bc was a Godsend, I hope it hasn't quit preventing periods somehow!!!

I've been on the pill for over a year and for the past two months I haven't had my period. Last month it was only brown discharge, this month there's only blood when I wipe. Is this normal?

I'm on loestrin 24 fe and I had light periods to start out with and then they got lighter and lighter and last month they kinda just stopped completely. I don't get back pain like I used to which is why I started the pill and now no period. I'm kinda freaked out seeing as I'm a 17 year old student. Is this random period stoppage like normal or should I be concerned..?

I've been on Loestrin 24 fe for about 7 months now. I was sexually active without condoms when I was most fertile. We also used the pull out method. I was expecting my period early february. I got symptoms, even cramps but no period. I went to the doctor and took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. But I'm still worried :/

I've been on loestrin for a while now and my periods are always light. I'm on the third brown pill, but haven't had my period yet....I had sex about 5 days ago and my boyfriend came inside of me. We've been having sex with him cumming inside of me for about 3 months now and I haven't gotten pregnant. Should I be worried about being pregnant this time? Or when should I take a pregnancy test?

I was worried because thats what happened to me too. I talked with my Gyno and she said that sometimes you don't have enough hormone in your body to have a period each month which can sometimes happen. She said I didn't have to worry. I've been on the Loestrin 24 for about 5 years now. I did remember that I missed a day later in my pack and then took 2 the next day. She said it may have happened becuase it was later in the pack closer to when my period was to occur. Having the higher level of from the pill can sometimes affect your period.

I have been on Lostrin 24 fe for going on 3 months now. I started it because I was diagnosed with endometerosis about a year ago. I would bleed for months at a time without it stoping or leting up. I was at wits end nothing was working, depo shot, ortho lo, and like 2 others. It was seeming like my only choice was to get a hysteroctomy but I really didnt want to do that being only 24 and wanting more kids I spoked to a new doctor and she put me on this and I LOVE it! First month I only bled for 2 weeks and last month I spotted for only a few hours 2 days and then a couple of hours a few days later and that was it. I definitely have to say its the pills. I am not complaining at all for from bleeding for 4 months of and on weeks at a time and then 8 months straight to being on this and only spoting! I am in love with these pills.
