L-thyroxine And Pvcs

I have been taking 25mcg of levothyroxine for about a year and a half when I had to switch to escripts. I received my prescription in the mail and the tablets were now oval and scored and manufactured by SANDOZ. Two weeks into this new script and I started having odd sensations in my chest and my hands would be stone cold. At work I hooked myself up to telemetry and saw that I was throwing PVCs three at a time. Heart rate was 69 and no other issues except a weird feeling I cannot describe accurately. It was the third time that happened while on the new script. I printed out a strip to take to my Dr and had an EKG done with no problems noted (of course I wasn't experiencing any symptoms at the time of the EKG). Anything like this happen to anyone here?

Hello, Kini! How are you?

You are not the first person to report such an issue, though PVCs aren't listed as a side effect of this medication.

I am curious as to whether or not they are due to the thyroid issues and perhaps not the Levothyroxine. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, weight changes and hair loss.

Have you tried consulting with a cardiologist? Someone that deals with this type of thing all the time might have a better idea of what's going on and why.
