Why is the Norco a bright bright yellow and much thicker in size! It's a V 3601? The others I have received are smaller and light yellow? Is it safe? Can I take it to be tested?

The yellow pill which you are describing is Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone bitartrate (325 mg - 10 mg). That said, is in fact safe for you to take if you were in fact prescribed this pill by your doctor. A couple possible reasons I think of as to why it may be larger are due to increase in dosage, a change in manufacturer, or if the manufacturer changed the way they wanted the pill to look.

Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone is a combination of two types of pain medicine to treat moderate to severe pain.
