L Montus

i am using this tablet following my sinusitis operation since 4 years. If i stop this tablet, the next day i am feeling like, running nose, itching in the nose, sneezing with bad smell, head ache. Is it safe to continue life long or any other alternative???, pls. help me

L-Montus contains the active ingredients Levocetirizine and Montelukast, used to treat or prevent nasal congestion.

After it has been using for a long period of time, your body gets used to having it and not taking it can cause some rebound effects.

Have you spoken to your doctor about what you should or how you can stop using it?


this site is not medical professionals to suggest an alternate treatment. A medication such as this may require a slow tapering of it, to lessen these rebound effects and enable your body to slowly get used to not having the medication, anymore.

My mother 60 year old, is taking Monteleukast+levocetrizine combination since almost over 5 years.
She has Nasal Polyps. Doctors have suggested to not to go for a surgical removal of polyps since it can have recurrence.
She is alos using formonide rotacap each night. Please advice if its all safe/ should be changed to some safer alternative.
