Those are the active ingredients, so that would be the generic. L-Mefolate is a form of Folic Acid, Mecobalamin is a form of Vitamin B 12 and Pyridoxine is a form of Vitamin B6, so this a nutritional supplement.

My insurance carrier will no longer fill my Rx for this Metanx generic. They say there is an OTC drug available now called Futanx. I cannot find any information about Futanx.
