L Cin 500 Mg+ Asthma

I have asthma. My doctor has recommended L-cin 500mg for 8 days. I want to know the role of this medicine. how does it work. Does the medicine have any side effects?

L-Cin is listed as containing the active ingredient Levofloxacin, which is an antibiotic used to treat infections.

Its side effects can include: nausea, dizziness, diarrhea and skin rash.

Asthma, however, is usually caused by an allergic reaction to something and this medication won't help, unless your asthma symptoms have been cause by some type of infection.
