Klonopin In Urine Test For Benzodiazepines

I have a prescription for ativan and diazepam. My ativan (lorazepam) script needed refilling however my doctor was on vacation without a covering physician. Which was bad but I only needed to wait 4 days til his return. My husband has a clonazepam script and offered to help by letting me take four of his til my doctor returned. (Yes, I KNOW sharing a script is terrible. I don't need a lecture on that. Please). Anyway, four days after taking the last clonazepam I had a random urine drug screen. They first did a urine dip test which showed for benzodiazepines, so they took more urine to test for the benzodiazepines themselves. Now I have active scripts for my lorazepam and diazepam. But I know the clonazepam was still present in my urine. Will the lab/medical review doctor ask me for each specific script or will clonazepam show as a category with my lorazepam and/or diazepam?

Well, it all depends on what kind of lab test was ordered. For instance a GC/MS can test for specific metabolite's presence. That said, They are cost prohibitive and most won't absorb the cost. So unless your familiar with the testing protocol utilized it's difficult to render an accurate answer. Best of luck
