What is the difference between klonopin 0.5 mg with a pill marking of R33 and 832 TEVA?

These are both generics for Klonopin, which contain 0.5mgs of the active ingredient Clonazepam, the only different is they are manufactured by different companies.

This is a Benzodiazepine, so it may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.

there is a difference in how the medication is absorbed in the body. you are not being honest. Klonopin has a much better effect on me. I suffer with rapid thoughts and can not clear my mind to fall asleep. Klonopin has worked for many years. Now i have no choice but to work with other medications, suffer, use clonazepam, or pay outrageously for a medication I cannot afford to have but no afford to live without. Generic medication are always just alittle inferrer. It is not in the customer head, and it is insulting to treat customer in such a manner.

Wendy, I didn't say anything of the kind.

As a matter of fact, it has nothing to do with the way the medication is absorbed in the body, it has to do with the amount of the medication itself.

There can be differences in the amount of the active ingredient in a generic medication. Under federal law in the U.S., they are allowed to differ by as much as plus or minus 20% of the active ingredient. This is considered an acceptable therapeutic window and for most people that slight fluctuation makes no difference.

However, since generic manufacturers are only required to measure against the name brand and not against each other, this sometimes results in fluctuations between them, as well and, if someone is sensitive to the medications, it can cause problems for them.

The number of people that experience problems from these variations is actually very small. You appear to be one of them, but you are in the minority.

I take 1mg blue klonopin. I felt nothing when taking my last prescription the company that manufactures them did some research and found out that lot number from the prescription lead back to a placebo that got shipped by accident. This upset me because this medication is very important to me and to find a company that would send out a drug with zero active ingredient set me back. I have no idea how this could happen but it did. If you get the blue 1mg klonopin call the manufacturer and if it comes back as a placebo they will refil your rx withou needing another prescription. Hope this helps some people when they feel insuperior affect from there klonopin I really don't understand how this could happen

Sound to me like you have a legal suit on your hands. I'm shocked the pharmacy was even honest about it.

You can have a seizure when you abruptly stop your medication. This is very dangerous.
