UpdatedMy husband is allergic to aspirin….can he use Keto/Lido?

Hi Karen,
From what I understand, Aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) has no chemical relation to Ketoprofen or Lidocaine. So from that perspective I don't see why he wouldn't be able to use Keto/Lido, unless otherwise instructed by his doctor.
On that note I do think it would still be best to discuss taking any new medications with his doctor first and foremost, since he/she can make the most appropriate decision based on closer evaluation or after checking your husbands medical records for any other possible discrepancies/contraindications.
I hope this helps!
