Ketamine/lodocaine Infusion
UpdatedHi,
I have a couple chronic sports related injuries and a new issue in my neck causing some referred nerve pain into my head. I started cymbalta about 7 weeks ago, it has helped tremendously in my mood and depression, and maybe a little bit so far for my pain, so I am hesitant to stop it just yet.
I recently had a 45 min Lidocaine/ketamine infusion, though my pain doc explained it was mostly lidocaine. He did not want to administer too much ketamine the first time. I have another scheduled in 5 weeks. It's been a day, and I certainly feel more uplifted, but it's difficult to say if the pain has improved just yet.
Anyone has success with these infusions? If so, how far apart were your first few infusions?
Or perhaps you didn't need more than 1?
