Kadian Er 200mg Tampered With From Drug Company

I received my prescribed kadian in the factory sealed bottle. It did not appear to have been tampered with. However,I noticed several times I got no relief from my medication after taking it but did not think much of it until I noticed one night as I went to take my kadian it did not sound right, kadian had small round bead type substance inside a capsule and when shaken they make a defiant sound. My capsule made no sound so my mother and I checked the entire bottle and found two more made no sound, we opened each of them one capsule was completely empty, and the other two contained a sugar like substance and cotton like material.has anyone else had kadian or medication from Actavis that was tampered with.

The capsules are supposed to contain little pellets, as you described.

Have you informed the manufacturer, the FDA, and the pharmacy it was obtained from?

That should be the first things you do, so they can look into the problem, which will include trying to discover where an issue occurred along the supply chain.
