Klacks mouthwash, also referred to as Klax or Clacks Solution is reportedly a prescribed mixture that you must obtain from a pharmacy.

Interestingly enough, when I search for these names (noted above) I primarily get results for what's called "Magic mouthwash", so I'm under the impression that this is what it's most commonly known as.

Magic mouthwash is indicated for use in treating mouth sores.

The following PDF lists all the commonly used Magic mouthwash formulas: mercypharmacy.wikispaces.com/file/view/MAGIC+MOUTHWASH.pdf

Most formulas are said to contain at least 3 ingredients but are not limited to: An antibiotic, antihistamine, antifungal, steroid, local anesthetic/pain reliever, or an antacid.

Dosing reportedly depends upon the type of formula being used. However, most of the formulations are said to be used every 4-6 hours with instructions to hold in the mouth for one to two minutes then spit out or swallow.

Does anyone else have information to add or personal experience using one of the magic mouthwash formulas?
