Just Started This Med, What Am I Experiencing?

I took 30mg the first day in the morning. Gosh, was I productive and organized what a great feeling! I did have sniffles and was glad I'd not had coffee or tea that morning. No warning about this from the doctor however.

Later that day in the evening I began to experience head-aches and it lasted all night and into the early morning. I called my doctor, she said that I should not take it that day and cut the dosage in half. I did what was recommended except I took a little dab with water, because I was concern that I might be experiencing a withdrawl symptom.

Today I've take a half dose in water as recommended. I feel much better. Has anyone else experienced this symptom?

You should follow your doctor's advice for the dosage adjustment.

The headache diminished and was absent after about a week on the drug. Also, the sniffles I experienced diminished as well. Overall, I am pleased with the medication, but was disappointed in some anticipated side
effects, no discernible weight loss, but that could be due to my age.

I thuink that I took this drug about 40 years ago in London, but I don't remember the name. you started with one colour pill and then went through different colours as the effect work off. These came through a so called "Doctor"I had the same problems, I was on night duties at the tie, and could walk all night, reorganise my life, etc. Hardly sleep the next day. Massive loss of weight.........But the headaches were terrible and nothing moved them. Very dry mouth. A friend at the time, did it, and she looked like one big wrinkle, and instead of looking 25, she looked 85.. I suggest it is not a good way to slim.
