Just Started Taking Celexa

I just started to take Cit yesterday and I have had problems with nausea but it's a lot worse now, and I have a constant headache, and I find I am clenching my jaw without realizing it, I'm just wondering if these side effects will go away once my body is use to the meds. It's my first time on it and I'm just anxious about it.

Hello, Red89 and Worried! How are you both doing?

In theory, these side effects should go away. According to the FDA, side effects are usually transient and taper off, once your body adjusts to the medication, usually around 4 to 6 weeks. You may also experience nausea, dizziness and mood swings.

The reason I said 'in theory' though is due to the fact that everyone is different, so if the side effects continue or get severe, you should consult your respective doctors, as it might not be the right medication for you.
