Just Asking For Help

i have been on the 50mcg patches for about 2 yrs. also take breakthrough of 4 10mg. oxycodone. i've noticed the past few months i need to take more of the pills. the patch has worked good but it is possible it needs to be uped to 100mcg.s? i have a good dr. i've been told that if the patch is increased that the other pills need to be raised too. i have chronic pain. i have a high tolerance. i looking to only get more relief not a high.

Hello, Merle! How are you feeling? Sorry about the problems you're having.

No, it isn't necessarily true that raising one requires raising the other. That is entirely up to your doctor and how well each one works for you. They may just raise the patch and leave the tablets as is, or vice-versa.
