Jardiance And Joint Pain

I am a 66 year old male. I have been taking Jardiance 10mg for 5 months. I have developed joint pain in multiple joints from jaw to shoulder to elbow to knee that I never had prior. Could this be a side effect of the Jardiance?

Yes, the FDA does list that as being a known possible side effect of Jardiance, along with nausea, headache, hypotension, and increased urination.

Have you consulted your doctor? You may need to try a different medication, or try something to alleviate the joint pain.

Are you on any other medications?
