I started taking my pack the sunday after my period like i was instructed by my Dr. I've had 19 days between cycles I started this morning but have 5 active pills left, do i continue to take the blue pills eventhough i've started or do i jump to the white/inactive pills?

Hello, Chelsie! How are you?

You should continue taking the active tablets and not start the inactives, until you get to them. Your cycles will not adjust, unless you stick with taking them straight through.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of oral contraceptives as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, breakthrough bleeding and PMS-like symptoms.

Is there anything else I can help with?
