Issures With Butrans Patch

was on 5mg Norco 3x's a day, was put into pain management, put on 5mg butrans patch, little or no relief, first script, patches kept falling off, even with tegedern tape, second script, open to get a patch, there was none in there. Have fibro and back issues. I got 3 free patches from manufacture, but who will believe this missing patch. Can't believe I am the only one having issues with this patch.

Hi Bessan, Sorry to hear about your challenges with the butrans patch. With all the effort you went through to make this work, only to come out with no relief, it sounds to me like it may not be worth the trouble.

When you mentioned that there was no patch in the second script are you saying that they left you completely empty handed at the pharmacy? I haven't heard of that happening to anyone before, but as a patient and customer you should be able to file a complaint with the pharmacy in order to make this problem known. Hopefully someone in there will have a heart and understand the honesty coming from your tone of voice. I just don't know what they could do about it from there since it's likely to be a sensitive situation with all of their policies.

At least it was a "free" trial and you didn't lose out on any hard earned money. But maybe you can talk with your doctor about trying something different if it doesn't actually work as well as you feel it should.
