Issues With Bystolic

Is anyone else experiencing the following side effects? I am 54 years old and went on 5 m of Bystolic approx 4 months ago. I have put on ten pound (rare for me) have chronic heartburn, morning nausea, my liver enzymes are above normal now, night sweats and tiredness ...the nightmares have subsided....I am at wits end....my blood pressure is borderline ....do I really need this drug or is there a better one out there?

Hi Bridget, sorry to hear about what you're going through. The chronic heartburn and nausea sound like some of the common side effects for this medication. The weight gain, however, is considered more serious so I'd recommend alerting your doctor of this ASAP because your treatment may need to be changed. Hope this helps and best wishes with all this!!
