Isosorbide Mn Er Following Cardiac Catheterization

I had a cardiac catheterization. This was prescribed as a follow-up drug. Label says "dizziness" is a side affect. Why? What does this cause/affect that would make me dizzy? I take two other meds daily that state they cause the same side affect...

There is no real way to say why any particular medication causes any side effect, but you are putting a chemical into your body, to help it operate better, which your body isn't used to having and thus, it is always possible that a reaction to it will occur.

Isosorbide Mononitrate is used to help treat irregular heartbeat.

Other side effects may include: nausea, headache and sleep disturbances.
