My doctor has prescribed ISMO 20 for angina and I have been using one 20mg tab a day for the past 22 days. Since the beginning i have had pain in my left jaw and a portion near the left ear. I have pain while chewing from the left side. I also have pain in the left side of my neck about 2 to 3 inches behind the left ear causing my neck to become a bit stiff. In the initial stages the pain was somewhat more, but now it is tolerable and the medication lasts for 6 hrs. Pls advise. Another Dr. told me that it is a banned drug. Kindly confirm. ## Hello. Im a 62 yr old south african and have been using adco alzam for a year. I've recently stopped using it . Since then ive beem experiencing lameness in back neck nd head area, no pain though, insomnia is over now but i am very tense. Should i be concerned about this? ## I am a 62 yr old south African diagnosed with ischaemic heart disease. I was stented a year ago though I still feel a bit of lameness in my fore arm and recently in my neck and back. I don't know if this is a new ailment. Sir,On 12 Aug 2014,I suffered from ischemic heart disease with diastolic dysfunction and mild LVH. LVEF was 35%approx. I underwent PTCA to LAD,one blockage90%, on 16 Aug 2014. All other parameters were in normal limits such as HDL, LDL, Triglycerides, VLDL Blood sugar, Creatine etc. I am not diabetic. What is the use of these tablets ## Did you mean Ismo Retard? If so, it contains the active ingredient Isosoride Mononitrate, it is most commonly used to treat Angina. Common side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, headache and hypotension. Learn more:
