Is This Normal? Sprintec Skipping

Hi. I am on sprintec and forgot to take day 9. on day 10, I took 2 blue pills day 9 & 10. On day 11, I took my pill as normal, and now I am bleeding. Its dark in color. Is this normal? I've done this before and don't remember mid cycle bleeding. thanks,

When you're taking oral contraceptives, your period is actually a withdrawal bleed that's caused by withdrawal of the hormones. Thus yes, anytime you miss a pill or take it late, there is a chance of experiencing bleeding.
