Is There A Difference?

I have hydrocodone 5 mg-acetaminophen 325 mg tablets which my doctor prescribed me due to back aches I was just wondering if it mater if the pills had any specks or not? does it make a difference in the pill because the ones I have seem to not be working for my pain?

Do you know what the color or imprint is on that pill you have? If you could post back here with any of those details I may be able to find a few images online that depict how they're really supposed to look.

And if there are any specks to be found, I would actually think that it's quite normal for each tablet to have a differentiating amount of these specks on their surface. That's just how some batches turn out; at least from what I've heard anyways.

Were you given a different manufacturer's generic than you're used to having? I know a lot of people have been complaining about the Actavis ones in particular being noticeably less effective than other versions of the drug.
