I was given a dose pack to determine if a condition I have is inflammatory arthritis or not. By day three of the mess, I was feeling better than I had in months! I could walk without a limp, and I just felt better. But now I'm on the last day and the pain is slowly creeping back in. Is that normal? Should I assume it isn't helping as much now because the dose is smaller?

Unfortunately, the effects of such medications are usually temporary, so yes, that is normal, as the dosage reduces. However, it is good clue that you do have some condition causing inflammation.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, insomnia, acne, and nervousness.
