Is Pregnancy Possible With Medroxyprogesterone?

Hi everyone I am really feeling annoyed. I am 32 years old and am trying to have another child. I am on medroxyprogesterone 10mg. I have been prescibed to take it because of my periods, and have been taking it since Jan 26th. It's March 8 and still no period. Is it a possible I could be pregnant? I even took a pregnancy test. Is it still possible I may be pregnant?

Hello, Monae! How are you? What were the results of the pregnancy check?

Generally, if taken all month, this medication will prevent ovulation and may cause you not to have periods. Ideally, to help regulate a woman's periods, it's usually taken from mid-cycle for about 2 weeks, then stopped.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, spotting and irritability.
