Hi Gail,

From what I could find, caffeine and propyphenazone are reported to be the two active ingredients in "Optalidon N".
Neither are a narcotic or opioid, but propyphenazone does have pain relieving and fever reducing properties. As far as addiction is concerned, we all know that caffeine can be abused. However, when it comes to the other ingredient propyphenazone, I haven't come across any specific details stating whether it's addictive/habit forming or not. Though, if you take it as prescribed there really shouldn't be any problems with that?
