A 70 yr old lady lost the efficiency of both kidneys and was advised dialysis. But again doctors suggested to take KETOSTERIL for a month and can be observed for improvement of kidney function.Will the above named drug avoid dialysis ?

How foes ketosteril help in reducing creatinine? My dad both the kidneys are damaged and he is in CKD 5th stage with creatinine level of 6.56. Doc had given ketosteril 1tabs thrice a day will it help him. Does he need to go under dialysis or transplant??
