Is It Safe To Take Nasatapp While Breastfeeding?

Can i take nasataap while breastfeeding? My baby is almost 4 month old now and im so scared to take the tablet. Please advise. Thanks

Phenylpropanolamine, one of the active ingredients in Nasatapp has in my investigation been under scrutiny for causing birth defects when taken during pregnancy. On the other hand, I'm also finding that there is no data on the excretion of Phenylpropanolamine into human milk during breastfeeding. Having said this, I would probably talk with your doctor for another opinion and take caution to only use it if the benefits outweigh possible risks.

As for Brompheniramine, the second active ingredient in Nasatapp... when taken in small and infrequent doses, reports suggest that there is nothing to worry about with regards to adverse effects from breastfeeding. Larger and more frequent dosing however may increase risks of side effects in both the mother and infant.
