I have a bad teeth and one doctor gave me 500 mg amoxicillin also I have a stomach infection and the doctor gave me 500 mg amoxicillin. I don't understand if I should take all of it in one day? So all together I am supposed to take seven amoxicillin per day? Is that safe for the stomach infection? I'm supposed to take 2 amoxicillin in the morning and 2 at night for the stomach. I'm to take three a day for the infection in my tooth. They are both two different doctors.

Was the second doctor aware that you were already on Amoxicillin from the first doctor?
This is an antibiotic, so you can't really overdose on it, but it likely isn't necessary to take both prescriptions, however, you may want to double check with the doctor to be sure.
The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
