Is It Safe To Take Diclofenac After You've Taking Aleve?
UpdatedMy mother has a bad sciatic nerve which causes her pain quite frequently. This morning, she was looking for her Diclofenac and couldn't find it, so she took the last two Aleve and laid down. I found them for her, but now we're unsure if she can take one so soon after taking Aleve. It's been about 20 minutes since she took them. Is it alright for her to take her Diclofenac?

No, these are both non-steroidal anti-inflammatories, so that would essentially be doubling up and she should not do so, without her doctor's approval.
The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and increased risk of bleeding.
Is there anything else I can help with?
