If it's the time released formulation Oxycontin, then no. That creates the risk of your getting too much of the medication, at once and puts you at risk of overdose.
This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
