I'm 20. I went to the clinic because I had developed a rash on the inner lips of the vulva, causing painful urination and blood after urination. They said it was an sti and I told them I had the painful urination and the blood after urination long before I became sexually active.. they gave me doxytet.. what I wanna know is.. do I really have an sti or is it another infection, because the last 2 symptoms I've had since I was 13.

Hi there - sorry to hear about your challenges. It sounds like they prescribed you the doxytet to treat a broad spectrum of possible infections, whether sexually transmitted or not. The symptoms which you are describing, especially blood after urinating, are pretty acute, and I think you should go for a second opinion and ask for them to run further tests to try and isolate the specific infection or if there are any other problems. If you've been dealing with this for 7+ years then that is intense and I wish you the best. Hopefully the antibiotic will help you, but like I mentioned, you should definitely see if you can get some further tests done with your doctor. Best wishes for your health!!
