Fentagurl...you might want to spend more time helping others with "HARM REDUCTION" that you claim to know so much about as opposed to attacking others. You try to use words that don't even fit, and you read things into posts that aren't even there, thus exposing ignorance. Try being less of a dictator wannabe and be more supportive of your fellow mates, aye? stop attacking everyone and play nice....you like to run with scissors. You're gonna trip one of these days.

Hmmm, let's see. Your accusation was: "IF she'd like to I doubt she would after you practically called her a liar ........ Obviously you felt strongly about this to call me out and doubt the veracity and honesty of the poster."

Doubt the "veracity" & honesty? LOL! You cannot find where I called her a liar or said that I doubted her. Does that frustrate you? You cannot find evidence of your false accusations? Everything I said proves that I pretty much believed her story, and I asked kindly - gently. I did not attack or accuse anything. YOU are the only person doing that, Fentagurl. And I'm not your only victim. Like I said, you've got some serious issues.

Fentagurl - why did'nt you copy & paste the rest of that sentence I wrote? Just want to pick & choose what you want to believe, right? It really frustrates you that you couldn't find any more evidence of your false accusations, huh? Everything I said about her is clear that I believed her. I wouldn't have even asked her the question that got your panties all in a bunch if I didn't believe her, LOL! So you don't even make sense with your attacks. what a joke.

Your copy & past job of what I said "If" is a far cry from what you accused me of. Here, I'll refresh your memory:: "IF she'd like to I doubt she would after you practically called her a liar. ....Obviously you felt strongly about this to call me out and doubt the veracity and honesty of the poster." I have to laugh at this! Okay Fent, who is the one here making false accusations and attacking others? Kiddo, I think you got to go back and re-read everything if you want to throw any more poison arrows. lol!

I have read so much on the net about how people are misusing this drug in its patch form. I guess I just don't get how anyone can misuse it with exception of eating one of them...Mine are 100 MCG (none Jelly form) every hour for 3 days now you do the math. That is alot of the medicine held in that patch. its also has the glue to hold it in place mixed with the medicine. the Glue alone can cause side effects if ingested. I cannot see how anyone can smoke it because the plastic part and the glue part would just melt. And chewing one would make a person very ill or even cause death.. I also know no matter how many people tell a person who is addicted to any drug or even Alcohol they need to stop, they will never stop till they are ready to and that they are stopping for themselves. There will always be people who abuse Medications. I want to tell them if you are going to misuse a drug be very careful. That is for any drug that is prescribed or is an elicit drug that is illegal. You can end up DEAD. Stay Safe. Please if you want to tell me how you are abusing a trans-dermal Fentanyl Patch please do. I want to say I truly believe that one day I will not be able to get my medication because too many people are abusing it. And for myself and all the rest of the Chronic Pain survivors that absolutely need this medication it is so unfair to us. BUT LIFE IS NOT FAIR.

Hmmm, I guess every one needs someone to blame. It's a shame that horrible parenting was already taken by your own isn't it? It's beyond laughable that you think a fourum board is single handedly responsible for the poor choices your son makes... who might I add, more than likely spent the majority of his adolescent years under your own, personal, supervision...I am 21 years old and even I know that At the end of the day we are all responsible for the choices we make, now, weather or not we as young adults have been instilled with the moral fiber, self respect, and plain common sense to do so.... Well, that's where you can take that finger.... And point it right back around at yourself mom. I'll pray for you, and your son. Allah be with you.

Glad to hear you took it off. I am thinking you did not aquire this from your Dr. Please do not do it again. If you are in need of any stronger pain meds, see your Dr. I have been wearing Fentanyl patches for 8 years and would not consider adjusting the prescription in any way without my Dr's advice. Fentanyl is a very dangerous medication and needs respect.

In a word NO! I hope you have chronic pain because that's what it is used for and only that. Not unless you want it release all at one time (that can kill you).

I've been on the 200mcg every 3 days and was visiting family in Texas and I left my meds there and don't get my refill until the 28th, I get 20 100mcg a month. What should I do?

You are lucky it was partially used already - and that it was a tiny piece. If it had been a fresh patch and you swallowed part of it, then you would have taken a dirt nap most likely.

If you are taking patches that were pre-used by someone else and putting pieces in your mouth, then you are sucking on that person's sweat and skin cells. That's pretty gross. I don't know if you can really get "high" from that, but it seems to me that it only makes you feel edgy and nauseous...not worth it.

OH NO - You have never gone to a doc in OKlahoma - if you don't think they don't accuse you of being a drunk and or drug seeker - - - Go stand by the nursing station - at any goody two shoes hospital - and you can plainly hear what they say - - - But I can see why your taking up for them after all their white GODS - - -

Idk for sure if all the med is on there still but let it cool down and you will pry be able to get some use out of it...but that's just a guess I am not sure...don't put it on hot tho...let it cool so it doesn't mess up the absorbing rate. ..take care...but like I said this is just my thought not possitive..

Come on wake up to reality. People are going to chew them so give real advice or don't waste people's time. With your argument we shouldn't give condoms to kids and teach them how to have safe intercourse cause they shouldn't be doing it anyway. Also we shouldn't have clean needle programs, people shouldn't be inj'ing drugs. If you aren't part of the solution you are the problem. Ignoring reality and pretending people are only going to take the fentanyl patch as prescribed is not helping anyone.

Ya if you chewed on that half of one youd be getting 2.5mg all at once thats equal to 250mg of morphine or 125 of oxicodone if you chew the whole patch then = to 500mg of morphine

Who said - There is NOT BARBARIC-RACIST'S ???
Friday The 7th of Aug - 2015 I went to The ER at William Newton Hospital A Dr. Randee E. Lipman - Was working this ER at the time - I got checked in and then taken back to have - blood pressure usual things - I explained - I was on pain medications - for my injuries - Bad Neck and Back - I had taken both MRI's at - William Newton along with exrays - which this doctor could of just pulled up - and knew - I had this problem along with - could of pulled up the meds - I had and was on - But this doctor chose to be a Barbaric-Racist - I was sent back too the ER waiting room - them saying - rooms were full - I watch whites leave from the back - 2 white boys - one in a wheel chair - other limping - still I was not put into a room - 46 minutes after seeing the nurse - The doctor had the nurse - bring out the Hospitals drug policy - In the middle of the ER waiting room - giving it too my wife - I looked it over and - NOTHING HAD I DONE - VIOLATED any part of this policy - - - So I blew it off and waited longer - I asked a person at check in too see whats taking so long - and I could hear the doctor - telling Her - she was NOT GOING TO DO ANYTHING FOR ME - - -

If you are ready to die this is the easy way. Chewing on fentanyl patches can put you to sleep and slow down your respiratory systems so far that your heart stops. So how is that for a good time. Dont do it pleaee! The quick high is not worth it.

Dear chronic pain opioid patients. New research has proven that use of opioids may increase the pain rather than numb it, your bodies addictive response for more. And that chronic pain associated with nerve damage will last longer than without, additionally the patient will also be more sensitive the pain. (Experiments in mice.) I recently tossed (drugs) everything (slowly) after loosing significant amount of memory and bloods came back with liver damage due to the amount of time on fentanyl, valium, amitriptyline, nsaids and alcohol. I want my life back. I go to an integrated pain management team, learn about living with chronic pain. It has been hard, the pain doesn't stop but i am in less pain now without meds and alcohol than before when i was smashed off my face, i could barely stand or walk. I reckon as the s*** (free radicals) is removed from my system my pain is decreasing. Chronic pain can be a psychological monster and with the bodies normal addictive response to opioids it will continue to feed your body with more referred pain to increase the dose, makes you more sensitive to your pain and proven to prolong nerve pain. Dangerous drugs in the hands of depressed chronic pain sufferers is not a good idea. You will die of organ failure before you die from pain.
