Is It Ok To Cut Hydrocone 7.5 500mg In Half?

My doctor prescribed me Hydroco 7.5 500 mg. I also take Spironolact and Pantoprazole 40 mg. Hydroco seems too strong for me, so I cut it in half. I was wondering if that is o.k? I am diagnosed with Cirohsis of the liver and I have poor circulation on my legs, and they are very swollen, so I take Hydroco for pain. I also have anemia and an umbilical hernia. Oh and by the way I have an enlarged heart.

Although I can't give you a definite answer, as long as the drug is not an extended release tablet, cutting it in half shouldn't hurt you. Always pay attention to how your body feels, and if you have any concerns it is best to double check with your prescribing physician.
