Is Fioricet West Ward 787 Available Anywhere?
UpdatedI had read that West Ward fioricet was off the market. This medicine helped so much with my headaches. Can you please tell me if the West Ward fioricet will be available soon?

Hi tam213,
According to the drug's main webpage, Fioricet products containing 325 mgs of acetaminophen have in-fact been discontinued.
New formulations of Fioricet & Fioricet w/ Codeine reportedly contain 300 mgs of acetaminophen per capsule to meet the FDA's safety guidelines surrounding acetaminophen dosing limitations.
I'm not sure when it's supposed to be back on the shelves, if it's not already. But I would suggest contacting West-Ward Pharmaceuticals directly for additional details at:
Recall Inquiries: [email protected]
Customer Service Inquiries: [email protected]
Customer Service Tel: 1-800-631-2174
I hope this info helps!
Thank you!
Yes, MD Aligne has that particular brand
I have been in contact with West Ward for months and they kept giving me new dates that it would be available again, with the last one being Dec 2013, but e-mailed them again and got the following reply:
Good afternoon, we just received notification that the Butalbital (Floricet) has been discontinued. Please check with your pharmacist and/or doctor so they can determine what you best alternative should be. As always, feel free to reach out to me with any additional questions and/or concerns.
Happy holidays!!

Fioricet generic butalbital/apap/caffeine is the only rx I ever found to help migraines and tension headaches. Now it is supposedly going off the market. What ate people supposed to do to have better health when they take medicine away that helps? Soon they'll be nothing left.
Re: Louise (# 5)
Fioricet IS available, just not Westward brand [ Which worked the best for me]
Re: c (# 6)
I too was taking Fioricet by Westward and cannot get it anymore, however my pharmacy filled my Fioricet and the brand is LANNETT (blue tablets) and they work just as well as the Westward 787.
